Juneteenth Volunteers

We are excited to be partnering with NYC Parks, Maysles Documentary Center and Memorial Sloan Kettering to bring an evening of free family friendly programming for Juneteenth this year. Offerings will include free dance/fitness classes (lindy hop, African dance, yoga and guided meditaitons), music and a free screening of The Wiz (1978) on the baseball fields.

Do note that volunteers are not expected to work the duration of the event but we do hope that you will stick around for the movie and help break down everything at the end. We do need all hands on deck for the first 2-3 hours.

Jobs may include transporting supplies and setup, collecting event waivers for dance/fitness classes and handing out wristbands, working the information/donation tables, confirming waiver wristbands at each class and running the popcorn machine.
